VFW Post 1860 will be having a member’s picnic on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at the Post Pavilion. All members and their families are invited to attend.
The Post will provide drinks and hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring a covered dish to share.
Entertainment will include Karaoke with L&J Entertainment as well as music with Jerry Williams.
If at all possible, please send a facebook message (www.facebook.com/vfw1860) or an email (vfw1860@vfw1860.org) to let us know if you plan on coming. This is entirely optional, we are just hoping to get a head count.

Due the the fire, VFW Post 1860 is unable to host the VA Medical Patients. The Elks Lodge #2382 has been generous and will be hosting the patents this year.
VA Medical Patients will be stopping by the Elks Lodge 2382 on the following Thursdays in October: 8, 15, 22.
Stop by and visit with patients as they get out of the hospital.
Park Rangers will be giving Shenandoah Park Passes to the patients

Boy Scouts will be retiring American Flags in a ceremony at 3:00pm at the VFW Post 1860 Pavilion.
You are welcome to bring American Flags to be retired. Please drop them off before noon.
Loving Arms Assisted Living will be hosting a breakfast fundraiser to benefit the rebuilding of VFW Post 1860.
Tickets may be pre-purchased from Loving Arms for $5.
Tickets will be $8 at the door.
